Adopting a Coursepack
How to request a coursepack:
  • Go to Faculty Adoptions to submit your requisition.
  • If the coursepack is not on the book history list, click on the search books button and type in corral for the author and the class name for the title, i.e., AGB 101, or click on blank form and type in information.
  • If you plan on revising your coursepack or will be turning in one for the first time, please note this in the comments section of your requisition.
  • We are asking professors to bring in revisions for:

    Summer 2008 - Please submit by May 16, 2008.
    Fall 2008 - Please submit by July 18, 2008

This is so we can be sure to have the coursepack ready for the week before classes start. If you cannot make this date, feel free to contact us. We will work with you on getting the coursepack ready and on the shelf as soon as possible.
How to order a coursepack:
  • Bring in your print-ready one-sided white paper copies as originals to the Courseware/Textbook office at El Corral Bookstore.
  • You get to choose the cover color, page set-up and binding option.
  • You can also request desk copies.
Copyright info:
  • If your coursepack contains any material from another source (pages from journals, books, magazines, newspapers, cartoons, Internet), it requires copyright permission. Even though it is for educational use, and may only be one page, it does not fall under fair use.
  • We will obtain copyright permission for you. Keep in mind that the permissions process may take as long as six weeks. So even if you do not have your originals together, you may send us the copyright information and we can start the process.
  • We will also let you know if any of the permissions are unusually high or delayed. We are committed to keeping the cost of your coursepack as low as possible. We also strive to have the coursepack on the shelves before classes begin.
  • For Information needed for the Copyright Permissions Process, click here.
