Q & A/ Textbook Refunds & Exchanges
Do I need my sales receipt and photo
ID?
- Always save your sales receipt! Without the sales receipt, we
are not obligated to accept a return. We truly require your photo
ID for your protection.
What textbooks may I return?
- With the original sales receipt and your photo ID, you may return
textbooks and other courseware that you buy for a specific academic
term -- unless otherwise stated -- during a limited returns
period. Items must be returned in their original resaleable
condition.
May I return textbooks that I reserve?
- Reservations have the same returns privilege as in-store purchases
of textbooks and other
courseware. We need the original reservation
invoice, the picklist,
and your photo ID. If you can not find the reservation invoice,
please contact us
before you try to return.
What if I purchase a defective textbook?
- If defective, we exchange textbooks and other courseware within
a reasonable period of time after the purchase. We require the original
sales receipt and your photo ID. If you can not find the sales receipt,
please contact us
before you try to return.
How do I return textbooks I bought on-line?
In what form do I receive a refund?
- If we owe you money, we refund the same way that you paid. If
you paid by credit card, for example, we credit the refund to the
same credit card account. Refunds and exchanges include any sales
tax. We refund shipping & handling fees at our discretion.
