Policy Changes
This page is where we post the changes in policy or procedure which relate to your privacy at our website and stores. We urge our customers to check this page from time to time.
April 2010: We launch Version 2 of this website. Your Privacy is re-named Privacy Policy. My Account requires that Customer ID and E-Mail Address be the same, which prevents customers from using their Cal Poly ID or Social Security Number as Customer ID. Employees’ access to customers’ sensitive information, particularly credit card information, is reduced.
April 2007: We delete Cal Poly IDs from all records in this website’s database. As a result, this website neither displays nor allows the entry of a Cal Poly ID.
January 2006: We close our secondary Office Pros website.
July 2005: We close our secondary BookSense website.
June 2005: We re-word Your Privacy to make it easier to read and easier to understand. Our disclaimer now addresses the misuse of Cal Poly ID or Social Security Number as Customer ID.
February 2005: We re-design our webpage templates so that most pages display a readily visible link to Your Privacy.
July 2004: We modify Version 1 of this website to ensure its compliance with the State of California’s On-Line Privacy Protection Act of 2003. We add to the home page a readily visible link to Your Privacy, which we re-organize and re-word.
June 2004: We launch Version 1 of our new custom-designed website
